BACKSTAGE PASS: Intro to Acting Workshop
4 Day Mini-Camp for KIDS! Phoenixville Area Middle School For kids ages 5 - 7 (entering Kindergarten through Second Grade) July 25 - July 28 Monday - Thursday; 9 am - 12 noon Price: $145.00 An introduction to theater for children to learn how to light up the stage. Throughout the week, participants will play improv and theatre games, practice skits from their favorite stories, sing show tunes, and dance to Broadway classics, culminating in a short performance for families and friends. Each participant will receive a free kids admission pass to see all of the other summer workshop productions (a $50 value, including Xanadu Jr., Seussical Jr., Disney’s The Jungle Book Kids, Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Kids, and The Music Man). Phoenixville Area Middle School For performers Ages 12 - 18 4 weeks June 27 - July 22 Monday - Friday, 9 am - 4 pm Performances: Friday, July 22 @ 7 PM and Saturday, July 23 @ 1 PM Price: $550.00 Xanadu JR. follows the journey of a magical and beautiful Greek muse, Clio, who descends from the heavens of Mt. Olympus to Venice Beach, California on a quest to inspire a struggling artist, Sonny, to achieve the greatest artistic creation of all time - the first Roller Disco. (Hey, it's 1980!) But when Clio falls into forbidden love with the mortal Sonny, her jealous sisters take advantage of the situation and chaos abounds. - See more at MTI's Website DISNEY'S SLEEPING BEAUTY KIDS WORKSHOP - CLOSED Phoenixville Area Middle School For performers Ages 7 - 12 2 weeks June 20 - July 1 Monday - Friday, 9 am - 2 pm Performance: Friday, July 1 @ 7 PM Price: $350.00 This classic fairy tale comes to life in Disney’s Sleeping Beauty KIDS, which features many roles for a large chorus, from King Stefan and Queen Stefanie's loyal subjects to Maleficent's slimy goons, as well as other fairies and animals.
