Youth Acting & Improv Classes
Join us on Monday and Wednesday nights during the school year for acting classes designed to improve your acting skills through character work and acting out scenes from your favorite plays and musicals, improv games and more. Whether the student is a first time actor or a returning participant, it's always fun to learn new skills and expand your theatre knowledge. A great way to make new friends, get ready for an audition or just try something new! Students in our Monday and Wednesday classes will give a presentation at the end of the session for their friends and families/guests!

TUITION: $290 FOR 14 WEEKS
Pre-K - Kindergarten- 1st grade: 5:30 - 6:30 pm - For budding performers, ages 5-6. Beginning and emerging readers should sign up for this class time. For children who are not strong readers yet, but are ready to learn about acting, singing and dancing.
Grades 2-4: 6:30-7:30 pm, Students are required to be proficient readers to participate in this acting class.
Grades 5-8: 7:30 – 8:30 pm: We will cover both beginner and advanced scene work depending on experience level of students.

Firebird Theatre presents: TRIPLE THREAT!
Musical Theatre Intensive Classes for KIDS & TEENS! Small Group Instruction, Saturday mornings at The Nest! FOR ACTORS IN GRADES 4- 12; Saturdays 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM LOCATION: ROYERSFORD BAPTIST CHURCH (RBC) DATES: JANUARY - MAY GUEST PRESENTATION IN MAY Become a triple threat! Students will work in small groups and one-on-one with our professional musical theatre instructors to improve their acting, dancing and vocal skills. We will prepare students for future auditions while having fun, and put on a presentation of everything they learned for guests on the last day of class. |

Movie Makers! A New Workshop from Firebird Theatre!
Take a journey from Broadway to Hollywood, from the stage to the big screen! Firebird MOVIE MAKERS is a new summer program that will teach students the basics of movie-making in a fun, hands-on way. Each day students will learn a different subject with daily projects such as Continuity, Stop Motion, Writing, Poster Making, etc. This is a BYOC (bring your own camera) class including smart phones. Students grouped based on age/interests for the final project. The final day will include a screening of everybody’s final project and awards ceremony for all of the filmmakers!
Grades: 5 - 12
Choose one or two week option!
Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 4 PM.

Firebird Theatre is proud to present part of our 2025 Summer Workshop series for Grades 5-12!
Our Theatre Performance Intensive is a small group musical theatre class that will sharpen your skills in singing, dancing and acting. You will perform a revue of songs and scenes from popular plays and musicals for your friends and family on Friday afternoon. Our instructors are Firebird Theatre workshop and main stage veterans, who will share their love of musical theatre with you! Tuition includes T-shirt.
You can sign up for one, two or more weeks, depending on your schedule! Students may opt out of dance and singing if they want to focus primarily on acting.
Grades: 5th through 12th
Times: 9 am - 1 pm
Dates: June - August
Classes are in a one-week increment. Sign up for one or multiple weeks depending on your schedule.
