LEGALLY BLONDE AUDITION INFORMATION
AUDITION DATES:
Saturday, April 2, 9am - 1pm
Tuesday, April 5, 6pm - 10pm
CALLBACKS (if necessary):
Thursday, April 7, 6pm - 10 pm
LOCATION: Royersford Baptist Church. 452 S Lewis Rd, Royersford, PA 19468. Click HERE for directions.
Please arrive at the beginning of the audition time and be prepared to stay for the duration. Please fill out the Audition Application Form and bring it with you to auditions and come prepared to note all conflicts between mid-May and the end of July. Remember to also bring copies of your sheet music and backing track.
If you can ONLY attend April 7, please email us at [email protected] and we will make arrangements to see you before callbacks begin.
MUSIC: Please prepare 32 bars of the modern Broadway or pop song of your choice. You may sing from the show if you prefer, but it's most important to sing a song that you feel comfortable and confident performing to the best of your abilities. Range testing may be done as well.
DANCE: A short dance will be taught to everyone. Please wear clothes you can move in and wear sneakers or bring dance shoes.
ACTING: You will be paired up to read. Everyone will get to read at least once, hopefully twice, time permitting. You will be considered for all roles, regardless of who we ask you to read for. The most important part is to be truthful, energetic, and sincere in all readings and we will be able to tell which roles will suit your talents best.
VIDEO AUDITION: If you cannot attend any of these dates, please submit a video audition by April 5 to [email protected]. Please include the Audition Application Form in your email. In the video, please sing 32 bars of the song of your choice and perform one of the below audition sides as the role of your choice.

Remember - auditions are meant to be fun! Don't stress out about anything. Our goal is to make the process as painless and fun as possible. This is a silly show with a huge heart, so bring both of these intentions with you into the room. We will aim to showcase everyone's talent in the production, as well as challenge you to grow musically, theatrically, and in dance.
