Volunteers
Firebird is a non-profit community theatre. We rely heavily on our volunteers. If you would like to volunteer to help with the production of our play or main stage musical, we would love to hear from you!
We are always looking for general volunteers in the area of fund-raising, grant-writing, marketing, in addition to production help like costumes, box office and so forth.

Internships
Firebird Theatre is hiring a small number of high school and college age teaching assistants for summer 2017.
Applicants should have theatre experience on stage and back stage, be comfortable around groups of young children, and be responsible and mature. Assistants will be responsible for conducting theatre games, assisting with costume and prop construction, teaching basic theatre techniques and assisting the directors with other projects as assigned.
This opportunity is open to Junior/Seniors in HS and College Students. These are paid positions and are meant to be treated as both educational experiences and real world work experience. You will be trusted with important responsibilities that are integral to the success of the productions. All interns/assistants are also required to be at every performance and set strike of the show that you are accepted for a position.
Everyone, over the age of 18 who is contracted to work at Firebird Theatre must have their clearances; PA State Criminal Record, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprinting and TB test (Methacton location only). If you do not have current clearances (no earlier than 2015), please start the process now.
