Our 2021 Main Stage Show:
William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet
Shakespeare's classic tale of star-crossed lovers from feuding families will get an ultra-modern update in this production. The warring Capulets and Montagues have destroyed their fair Verona, pitting neighbor against neighbor and thwarting young love, friendships, and community at every turn. When Romeo and Juliet meet at a dance and instantly fall for one another, the entire town is torn between love for their own and hatred for the other.
This modern, gritty production will be filmed on location on the grounds of Pennhurst Asylum in Spring City, PA. All safety and COVID precautions will be in place.

Auditions: Accepted through Wednesday, May 5th at midnight via video. (Details in the Audition Information link below!)
Callbacks: If needed, will be the following week. Exact date TBD.
Rehearsals: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 7-10 pm, May 24 through mid-June.
Not all actors will be called to all rehearsals or be asked to stay the whole time. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be made after all cast conflicts are collected. Some early rehearsals will be virtual, some will be in-person outside.
Rehearsal Sites: Lower Providence Level Road Schoolhouse and Pennhurst Asylum.
Filming: Will begin mid/late -June through July 13 on location on the grounds of Pennhurst Asylum in Spring City. Filming will be limited to Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays as well, BUT will include some Saturdays and/or Sundays, late June through July. Not all actors will be called on each weekend, but please communicate all conflicts to us, even if only partial days. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be made after all cast conflicts are collected.
Red Carpet Premiere of film was held on Friday, July 30th at The Colonial Theatre, Phoenixville, PA.
