GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER WORKSHOP: Acting, Improv and more! Saturdays at the Level Road School house in Collegeville. 10 weeks: February 6 through April 16. (Closed on March 26 for spring break.) Session 1: 11 am – 12 noon for ages 7-12; Session 2: 12 noon – 1:00 pm for ages 13-18; $135 for Lower Providence Township residents; $145 for non-residents Instructor: Deana Wisniewski Course description: Session 1 : Students will have fun learning to express themselves as they learn theater basics through acting, improvisation, theater games, movement & dance, scene building and public speaking. Course description: Session 2: Students will learn the many aspects of theater performance through acting, improvisation, character building, scene work, movement & dance, theater games, and an introduction to monologues. Public speaking will also be included! Suggested materials to bring along: Jazz shoes or sneakers, water bottle, and pencil. We kindly request that all cell phones are to be turned off during class. Parent Presentation on last day of workshop.
