The Nest Series is a new Firebird Theatre program being offered in the Spring-Ford community. Located just minutes away from our other venues in Phoenixville and Audubon at the Royersford Baptist Church, we are thrilled to be able to keep our Firebird students and audiences engaged and entertained over the winter and spring with plays and junior musicals and to sharpen their skills and provide performance opportunities all year round.  Presented in a more intimate performance space with an audience seating capacity of 100-150 guests, this venue differs from our other locations in that shows will be performed in an intimate space. Our actors will learn how to perform in various theatrical settings such as “theatre in the round” or a "thrust" stage.  Audiences will experience seeing their performers up close, and also enjoy ample free parking, a handicap accessible lobby and restrooms and many other amenities for our students and guests.

FOR AGES 7-18 : STAGE CRAFT PLUS!

A New Saturday Program at our Royersford Location!

Stage Craft Plus is a small group musical theatre intensive class for young performers designed to help them sharpen their skills and have fun over the winter.  Our team of instructors will provide very individualized attention to each student and provide one on one and small group instruction to help them improve their singing, dancing and acting skills.  As a group students  will learn and perform songs, dances and scenes from their favorite plays and Broadway shows. On the last day of class they will put on a revue for friends and family.
Whether your performer is looking to prepare for their next audition or just keep their skills fresh over the winter months,  join us at The Nest for a fun winter activity!  

Choose from either a full day or half day workshop on Saturdays, based on your availability.

Rediscover the loopy fun and the darker corners of J.M. Barrie's original novel. When the carefree and careless Peter Pan flies into the nursery of the Darling home, Wendy follows her instincts for maternity and adventure, bringing her little brothers along to the magical Neverland to take care of the motherless Lost Boys. Soon the Darling children are swept into Peter's deadly battle with Captain Hook and his mostly fearsome pirate crew. With so much excitement, why ever go home again...?

Rehearsals are Thursday nights from 6:00 pm -9:00 pm at Royersford Baptist Church. 
Show Dates: Friday March 31 and Saturday April 1 at 7:00 pm.
When cast in the show you will be required to pay a $175 production fee by the first rehearsal.
